Do you have Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Building Development or Business expertise?
Then consider being part of this groundbreaking initiative! Quest Community Health Centre is looking for people interested in serving in a volunteer capacity on its Board of Directors.
Quest Community Health Centre (GSCCHC) is a non-profit community-governed organization funded by the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integration Network. As one of more than 80 Community Health Centres across the province, our mission is to enable all our citizens to achieve health, community, and a sense of value. Our holistic, collaborative approach takes into account the broader determinants of health including employment, education, environment, isolation and income.
The Board meets monthly throughout the year for approximately two hours every third Thursday of the month. As well, there is an additional 4 hours of preparation and meeting time required. New members receive orientation to the work of the agency and the role of the Board.
Eight Board Members are currently in place. To support and guide our development we are looking for four new Members who:
- understand our community and its needs
- have a passion for our cause
- will commit time for board meetings, committee meetings, planning sessions and special events
- work well in a team environment
- live or work in the Greater St. Catharines area
In addition to the above characteristics, the Board is in particular need of candidates who have experience/senior leadership credentials in finance, law, building management, insurance, or academics.
